The outstanding media resistance of nobrox® was demonstrated in relevant tests as well.
Only minor changes
in mechanical characteristics were noted in storage tests in hydrocarbons (oils, gasoline,…), synthetic esters
(HEES), aldehydes or water (see chart). Especially in the case of typical hydraulic media, there is no significant
degradation and, in the worst case, minor swelling – in contrast to the swelling tendency of PA. The minor water
absorption results in higher dimensional stability, which allows guides with tighter fit to be achieved. |
