Recent industry calls for greater transparency in scoping and bundling decommissioning projects begs the question, how can the oil and gas industry cut costs without cutting corners?

For larger service packages, pre-tagging assets prior to commencement of work may offer up savings without compromising safety. Once equipment has been tagged and documented using a robust asset management system, its status becomes instantly transparent – you can assign staffing hours, identify cleaning schedules, identify maintenance inspections and so on, right up to the point of disposal.
