November 5-8: Electronics PAS, Rohnert Park, California
Parker Automation School (PAS) is an in-depth overview of Parker's Electromechanical portfolio of servo/stepper drives, motors, PAC controller, and software. The focus will be primarily on the core and newly released products with some minor references to mature and niche products. Product overviews include a mixture of technical breakdown of key features, how to sell and value proposition, core markets and applications and competitive overview, and more. The class will also cover servo, stepper, HMI, and PAC programming exercises focused on real-world applications. The four-day course will include a mix of classroom presentations and interactive labs. Participants should have a general understanding of electromechanical theory and technology and should have a laptop on hand with the ability to load sizing programs (preferably in advance).
November 13-15: AC890 Drives Training, Charlotte, North Carolina
This three-day course starts with the basics of AC Inverter Theory, AC890 Drive overview, DSE & DSELite software and ends with troubleshooting and customer applications. You will have instructor-led classroom training along with individual hands-on lab exercises. We will wrap-up the course with troubleshooting and customer applications discussion, which will give you expert insight and assistance into your specific application. This class is ideal for applications engineers, technical sales, field service engineers, and control professionals.
